On April 7th, the Asian American Cultural Center and the Rutgers University–New Brunswick community celebrated Asian Pacific Islander Desi American Heritage Month! This month and event focus on celebrating the Asian Pacific Islander Desi Americans' unique cultures, traditions, attire, and rich history. The event was hosted by our very own senior interns Mitra Raveendran and Geneva Lew. The program consisted of the Junior Interns expressing what they love about their heritage, a fashion show showcasing different countries and their clothes, performances, food, a photo booth, Kahoot, and a giveaway.
