I decided to join the Asian American Cultural Center’s (AACC) junior intern program in the spring semester of my freshman year. This eventually led to my position as a senior intern the following year, which proved to be the highlight of my college career. This experience not only taught me how to logistically plan on-campus events, but allowed me to discover my passion for mentoring new Rutgers students. Read more about Patrick Lum’s experience.

On a humid summer day, TaeHo Lee spent his free afternoon at the Cook Organic Gardens. A recent Rutgers graduate, Lee was back at his alma mater helping friends work through compost bins, full of smiles and easy banter. On Friday, February 1, 2019, the Rutgers community celebrated the Pan Asian Lunar New Year. The annual event took place in the Busch Student Center and was organized by the Asian American Cultural Center (AACC) and was co-sponsored by the department of Residence Life.
